Meet Our Practitioner

Dr. Ioana Daniela Panduru is a board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist with a strong foundation in both Eastern and Western medicine. With more than two decades of healthcare experience, she integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern therapeutic approaches to provide personalized, patient-centered care.

Ioana began her medical career by earning her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova (Romania), followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both Belgium and Romania. Her passion for holistic healing led her to pursue advanced studies in acupuncture and herbal medicine, completing a Master of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM). She later earned her doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at SIEAM, where she also completed advanced clinical training in East Asian Medicine for supportive oncology care.

Through her work at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine Clinics, Pike Market Senior Center, and the Asian Counseling and Referral Service, Ioana has supported patients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of health conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, she is committed to advancing the profession through research and education. She has authored publications exploring the role of Traditional Chinese Medicine in fertility treatments and women’s health.
